E.A.T.S. training helps you build the strength, speed, and stamina needed to excel in rugby. Whether you’re powering through tackles, sprinting for a try, or maintaining endurance throughout the match, our program is designed to make you a more powerful player on the field.
Powerful tackles, scrums, and explosive moves are a part of rugby’s physical demands. Our training focuses on building the strength you need to perform in these high-intensity moments, helping you dominate every aspect of the game.
Speed and agility are critical when you’re sprinting for a try or defending a break. Our rugby-specific speed training helps improve your sprint times, acceleration, and ability to change direction quickly, giving you the edge over your opponents.
In rugby, mobility is just as important as strength. We focus on exercises that enhance flexibility and joint mobility, helping you perform fluid movements during tackles, rucks, and lineouts while also reducing injury risks.
Our progress tracking system monitors your performance to make sure you're improving in the right areas. By measuring key metrics, we adjust your training to make sure you’re always getting better and improving your game.
We create customized training programs that focus on your strengths and areas that need improvement. Rugby is a physically demanding sport, and our personalized approach makes sure that your training aligns with your unique needs.
At the E.A.T.S. Spruce Grove gym, we provide a dynamic environment dedicated to your physical development. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities and a supportive community, we are committed to helping you achieve your rugby strength and fitness objectives.

We customize your training to meet both your objectives and your schedule. During the off-season, we usually ramp up our training to focus on developing strength and power. Throughout the season, we put a lot of emphasis on injury prevention, mobility, and maintenance to make sure you're prepared for every game.
Contact us to get started with a free athlete consultation call. We will discuss with you your sports history, current training regimen, your in-sport goals, injury history and budget. From then, we book with your in-person athlete assessment. The assessment is a multi-step test to evaluate possible areas of improvement. The results from the athlete assessment will determine whether we recommend you start your training in either the beginner or advanced stream. Once the assessment is completed, we will establish a training schedule that's convenient for you and begin your training!
For optimal results, we recommend attending training sessions at the E.A.T.S. gym three to four times a week. This frequency allows for consistent progress while ensuring adequate time for recovery. If you're interested in giving our program and facility a try, join us for drop-in strength training every Saturday.
